Rise From The Ashes

Rise From The Ashes is an real time strategy game where the player controls The Separatists forces who are against Atlantic Empire, who after surviving the Bombs are trying to take control of what is left of post nuclear Europe. 

​

To do so you will build your army of massive tanks and your base  to push back or eliminate the Atlantic Empire from the Baltic States. 

​

To win you will need to take out the enemy HQ but that is also the enemy goal.

What I Did

Skirmish

Inside Rise From The Ashes I was the Lead Designer of the project which was my job to manage the designers and make sure documentation and communication was traveled through the leads to Convery the info across the group. 

​

My Second role was Level Designer where I was given the job to make the full level which I called skirmish, Which was based off a real location called the Arc De Triomphe which was 4 massive connecting roads with the Arch in the middle and also made it to fit the 1v1 game mode.

Making the level required me to create pieces of the roads which would I would later connect to make a level base, 

then placing the housing shells and Major props around the level, which after I would add the walls and windows of the housing and more props to give us this great level.

​

Then once this was finish I would build a lower part of the level which would act as the playable Navmesh instead of the roads which would act as décor for the city. 

Environment

I also made Makeshift Props & Prop Spots using the Artists props which helped with adding more life to the world and making sure that not all areas looked the same and to make sure that the level looked good I setup a prefab for each set of buildings which hold hidden pieces that could be easily replaced to make each Building different with what I had.
